Staying on the ship was quite an experience! The rooms were spacious and historical, definitely charming despite some wear and tear. I really appreciated the accommodating staff, though there were a couple of moments where service could have been better. The location is unbeatable if you're planning to head out on a cruise, but the dining left a lot to be desired with high prices for mediocre food. Overall, it's a unique stay with some trade-offs.

Rooms

The room was huge and provided a unique glimpse into history, but it was slightly run down in some places. The couch was small for the size of the room.
Service

The staff was mostly friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked about tour assistance, but there were a few rude encounters that left a sour taste.
Location

The location is fantastic if you're going on a Carnival cruise, and I loved the detailed model ships on display.
Dining

Dining on board was not great; I felt like I was overpaying for subpar meals, and there wasn't even breakfast included.
Facilities

The facilities had a lot of potential but felt a bit outdated and needing a refresh to really shine.

I had an okay experience at this hotel. While the location on the historic Queen Mary added charm, the noise from equipment and the lack of heating in the rooms were drawbacks. The service could have been more engaging, which made for a less than welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it felt overpriced for what was offered.

Rooms

The rooms were a bit too noisy due to some pumps nearby, and I noticed that they lacked heating, which wasn't ideal.

Being on the Queen Mary was interesting, but the location felt a bit isolating and unfriendly. It didn't have the atmosphere I expected from such an iconic ship.
Dining
7.0
Dining was on the pricey side, but I thought it was worth it for the quality. However, the staff didn't seem very inviting.

I had a unique experience staying on a historic ship that was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The chance to stay in the haunted room B340 was exciting, especially since we were the first guests there in over 30 years. However, the service left something to be desired, especially with the lack of responsiveness from the staff regarding discounts. The location is interesting, filled with memorabilia, but not very convenient for exploring nearby attractions.

Rooms

Staying in the haunted room B340 was an extraordinary experience! The bedding was lovely and everything was impressively clean considering the ship was built in 1937.

The location was excellent for those interested in haunted history, with interesting memorabilia, but it's not convenient if you want to easily get out and about.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was absolutely great, situated on a historic cruise liner, which was a unique experience. However, the rooms felt a bit cramped with no windows and not very soundproof. The service was somewhat slow at times, especially during breakfast. Overall, it was a neat place to stay, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping back in time. The historical charm of the place was captivating, and the price was great at $140. However, I did notice the need for a deeper clean, and while the staff was helpful, my initial experience with them could have been more welcoming. Overall, it's an interesting spot that could use a bit of modernization.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a unique historical charm but lacked some modern amenities. They could really benefit from a deeper clean to enhance comfort.
Service

While the service could have been friendlier, I appreciated that the staff was ultimately helpful and even provided a refund for the facility charge without me asking.
Location

The location is lovely, just near the Pacific Ocean, but be prepared for a 15-minute walk to reach the nearest restaurants. It can be tricky to navigate due to construction, though.

My stay was on an old ship that offered a unique experience, but I felt the rooms were a bit outdated and cramped. The service was friendly but had its moments of inconsistency. The location was nice, especially if you're cruising out of Long Beach, but being a bit isolated meant limited options for dining off the ship. Overall, for a cruise, it had its charm but wasn't perfect.

Rooms

Staying on the Queen Mary was such a unique experience! The rooms were charming and spacious with great harbor views, though it's not without a few drawbacks. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the service could be slow at times. The location is convenient for the cruise port but requires a bit of travel to find more dining options in Long Beach. Overall, it was a fun stay steeped in history for a reasonable price.

Location
6.0
The location was quite convenient since it was right next to our cruise port, but it's remote, making it necessary to head into downtown Long Beach for dining.

The hotel is situated on a historic vessel which makes for a unique experience, but we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and the musty smell in our room. While the location by the dock is interesting and provides some charm, the condition of the rooms felt outdated and not up to par. Plus, even though the service had a charming vibe, there were some issues with noise early in the morning. Overall, it's a place that could have been much better with a few upgrades.

Rooms
5.0
The room was a letdown compared to what I expected. It felt dusty, especially under the bed, and had a slight musty smell.
Service
6.0
I found the staff friendly and elegant, but they often complained loudly about their jobs in the morning, which was quite disruptive.
Location

The location on the historic vessel was the only highlight, but being docked limited our ability to explore Long Beach and San Pedro.
Dining

Dining was outstanding, but I felt it was missing some basic items like beans and tomatoes from the breakfast.
Facilities

The hotel offered a decent stay, featuring clean rooms and friendly staff. However, the service could have been improved, especially with some staff not being very accommodating. The location is a bit remote, requiring a drive to find decent dining options, which is a downside. Overall, it was a comfortable experience but with some noticeable flaws.
